For our client Airbus Aerostructures GmbH, we are looking for an CNC Operator / Programmer at the Augsburg site. In a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment, you take over the complete process chain on CNC machines – from setting up and dismantling to program initiation and quality control. Your meticulous work approach and technical understanding are the key to efficient and trouble-free series production.

Responsibilities


  • Machine Operation: Setting up and dismantling CNC machines as well as initiating machine start-up
  • Process Monitoring: Continuous monitoring of the machine during program execution
  • Quality Control: Performing intermediate inspection steps to ensure manufacturing quality
  • Troubleshooting: Resolving minor machine malfunctions to minimize downtime
  • Process Optimization: Active participation in the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes
  • Efficiency Increase: Reducing disturbances and non-productive times for a smooth production flow


Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as a Machine Fitter or Machining Mechanic
  • Many years of professional experience in manufacturing and production
  • Several years of experience in industrial mechanics and practical machine operation
  • Experience with Siemens 840D control systems and good knowledge of technical drawing interpretation
  • Detailed specialist knowledge in MS Office; IT affinity is desirable
  • Business fluent German (at least C1); basic skills in English (at least A2)
  • Willingness to work in a 4-shift operation; spatial imagination
  • Teamwork skills, meticulous and precise work approach, and initiative
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
