Responsibilities
- Performing painting work according to work instructions (Standardworks) and technical specifications
- Covering and masking areas not to be painted, followed by demasking
- Preparing surfaces by sanding and cleaning
- Checking and adjusting the viscosity of primer and paint
- Applying various paint systems (primer, topcoat, basecoat, clearcoat) in the paint booth, including adherence to flash-off times and coat thicknesses using the wet-on-wet method
- Applying and painting logos using film, as well as applying small technical labels (decals) according to drawings
- Finishing work such as sanding, polishing, touch-ups, and rectifying work errors and customer complaints
- Ensuring workplace safety, order, and cleanliness, as well as inspecting equipment and tools (qualitatively/quantitatively)
Qualifications
- Completed training as a painter/spray painter or comparable qualification
- Initial practical work experience in a paint shop/industrial painting is desirable
- Experience with multi-coat paint systems and surface finishing (sanding/polishing) is an advantage
- Very good German (min. C1) and basic English skills (min. A2)
- Willingness to work shifts
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (not a student visa) is mandatory
