Tasks

  • Creating CNC programs for processing in forming technology (pipe bending) and determining the bending direction
  • Converting design data (e.g., STEP to IGES) and deriving bending-relevant parameters
  • Documenting changes to bending parameters, saving and versioning programs on data carriers
  • Determining clamping options and consulting with experienced colleagues for complex clamping arrangements
  • Setting up and converting bending devices depending on the pipe geometry, as well as testing and adjusting the clamping functions
  • Assigning bending tools, single-set running of programs, and optimization after consultation
  • Measuring and testing the processed pipes according to the test plan, entering correction values, and ensuring dimensional accuracy and quality
  • Documenting rework and rejects (e.g., cracks in bends, surface damage)

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as a precision mechanic, industrial mechanic, cutting machine operator, or in a metalworking profession, or comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in maintenance, aerospace, measurement technology, technical documentation, and quality management
  • In-depth application knowledge of SAP
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and advanced English skills (at least B2)
  • Willingness to work in a 2-shift system
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
