At Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg-Finkenwerder, you will work as a Production Quality Manager / Inspector to control release and inspection processes in the final assembly line. You combine technical detail knowledge with a systematic view of quality standards and ensure that every aircraft meets the highest requirements. Responsibilities
- Release management of aircraft areas throughout the entire manufacturing process, including hold point, incoming and final inspections
- Quality documentation seamlessly maintained and managed in manufacturing orders, IT systems and aircraft documents
- Deviation management of manufacturing deviations and non-conformities, as well as creation of Quality Survey Reports
- Process monitoring of manufacturing processes and supplier activities as part of operational surveillance and process checks
- Team coaching and technical guidance of authorized inspection personnel for continuous quality improvement
- Root cause analysis and participation in multifunctional teams to develop sustainable corrective actions
- Process optimization through application of PPS methods and measures to prevent foreign object damage
Qualifications
- Completed master craftsman training as an aircraft mechanic, electrical technician or in a comparable technical profession
- Several years of professional experience in the aerospace industry
- Several years of practical experience in quality assurance and management
- Confident handling of SAP and in-depth application knowledge; knowledge of Google Workspace is an advantage
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English (at least B2)
- Willingness to work in shifts (early and late shift)
- Good knowledge of Lean Management and strong teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to complete a pre-qualification
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
