Tasks

  • Supporting configuration and data management across all product life cycle phases
  • Performing configuration identification and planning, including mapping in enterprise resource planning and product lifecycle management systems
  • Implementing configuration control, change management, and process monitoring to ensure compliance and traceability
  • Supporting customer reviews and internal and external audits with reliable data
  • Further developing the configuration management process with a focus on clarity, efficiency, and standardization
  • Assisting in the selection and integration of configuration and data management tools (interfaces, process fit, user benefits)
  • Creation of training materials and implementation of training courses for specialist departments and interface partners

Qualifications

  • Completed degree, e.g., in engineering, aerospace, mechanical engineering, or similar
  • Several years of professional experience in configuration management and in the field of engineering/development/design/product development
  • Good knowledge of process management and a noticeable enjoyment of process design (hands-on, not just on slides)
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning/product data management/product lifecycle management systems, ideally SAP
  • Business fluent German and English skills (at least C1 in each)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
