The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 69,809 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 30.06.2027. Responsibilities
- Operational responsibility for storage and backup products in Germany according to ITIL principles
- Administration of storage and backup infrastructure while adhering to defined KPIs and SLAs
- Planning and implementation of new infrastructure solutions in the storage & backup domain
- Cost planning and control for your own area of responsibility
- Root cause analysis for disruptions, providing technical support and developing solutions
- Administrative tasks at the highest level within your area of expertise
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist or IT systems electronics technician with many years of professional experience OR completed Master's/Diploma degree in Computer Science
- Several years of professional experience in IT / information systems
- Experience in the field of automation (e.g., Ansible) is desirable
- Knowledge of at least one of the following technologies: STORAGE (Block / File / Object / SyncMirror), BACKUP (Virtual / Disk / Tape), RECOVERY
- Experience with at least one of the following products: NetApp, VEEAM, NetBackup, Commvault, Data Protector, Data Domain
- ITIL knowledge and product certifications (e.g., NCDA, NCSIE, NCTA, MetroCluster) are advantageous
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
- Teamwork skills, reliability, and a meticulous working style
- CV in English required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
