Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze customs-related material movements with a focus on customs compliance, customs costs, and process stability
  • Compile findings and develop concrete measures for process optimization and performance improvement
  • Support global customs broker procurement and broker management
  • Collaborate on projects and initiatives aimed at reducing costs and increasing efficiency
  • Describing customs regulations and ensuring their implementation in the ProX process documentation tool
  • Linking customs requirements to relevant logistics processes
  • Creating data analyses and professionally presenting complex content in PowerPoint presentations



Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in logistics or business administration (e.g., industrial engineering, business law, business psychology)
  • Several years of professional experience in complex, regulated environments such as customs, taxation, or similar fields
  • Experience in project management
  • Good command of German (min. B2) and business-level English (min. C1)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong sense of initiative, responsibility, and resilience
  • Strong organizational skills, planning ability, and high flexibility
  • Ability to work in a team, handle conflicts, and demonstrate assertiveness and negotiation skills
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (not a student visa) is mandatory
