For our client HENSOLDT Optronics GmbH, we are looking for a Quality Manager Products & Projects at the site Oberkochen. You are the strategic quality anchor, ensuring contract, norm, and guideline conformity from the bidding phase through to field use, while leading customer communication at the highest level.

The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 73,555 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 31.07.2027. Responsibilities
- Customer Quality Management as the interface for customer satisfaction and all quality topics
- Quality specifications evaluate and ensure compliance in bids, contract closures and their implementation into the organization
- Customer complaints manage – steering the 8D process, adhering to deadlines and communicating analysis
- Product development process support and ensure via quality contributions in projects
- Project and APQP monitoring – milestone compliance and reporting on APQP method modules
- Quality budgets plan with business units during the bidding process and create quantity frameworks
- Acceptance tests (FAT/FAI) plan, organize, and ensure with customers
- Reporting on field product quality and Cost of Non Quality (contract penalties, warranty costs)
Qualifications
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or comparable qualification
- Many years of professional experience (at least 5 years) in project management, production, engineering, and configuration management
- Good knowledge of the norm series ISO 9001, EN 9100, ISO15288 as well as NATO quality standards (AQAP)
- Proficient use of MS Office and SAP (knowledge of detailed functions)
- Business fluent in German and English (at least C1)
- Knowledge of quality tools and methods (APQP, 8D, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, 5Why)
- Strong technical understanding and ideally experience in Systems Engineering
- Process-oriented, independent working style as well as strong teamwork and organizational skills
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
