Responsibilities
- Supplier Management: Autonomous and transnational management of a complex international supplier portfolio, focusing on mission equipment, optionals, and weapon systems
- Auditing: Preparation and execution of supplier audits according to EN9100 standard for selection, qualification, and continuous monitoring
- Quality & Delivery Target Assurance: Securing the timely provision of equipment while adhering to defined quality targets
- Performance Optimization: Continuous improvement of supplier industrial performance through the application of Lean and improvement methods
- Complaint Management: Independent analysis of quality complaints and tracking of corrective actions in the relevant IT systems
- Risk & Project Management: Proactive risk management with effective mitigation measures, as well as support for Transfer of Works (ToW)
- Harmonization & Reporting: Support for cross-site harmonization projects for SCQM processes and regular reporting to internal customers
Qualifications
- Completed degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification (at least Bachelor's degree)
- Many years of professional experience (at least 5 years)
- Several years of experience in quality management, supply chain, project management, and technical documentation
- Initial experience in contract management
- Demonstrable project competence and professional handling of international stakeholders
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and English (at least C1); French skills are a great advantage
- Strong customer orientation, teamwork, flexibility, and good communication and conflict resolution skills
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
