At Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Manching, you will develop as a Computer Scientist / C++ Software Developer customized simulation and test software for various aircraft programs. You work in the "Test Frameworks Backend Services" team and deliver tools for development, integration, and testing with your expertise in modern C++ standards, middleware, and real-time applications.

The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 63,141 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 30.04.2027. Responsibilities
- Software development for simulation and test software in C++
- Framework architecture further evolving, especially for middleware and real-time applications
- Technologies deployed modernly and innovative techniques applied
- Virtual Engineering actively supporting (mixed environments of simulations and real hardware)
- System programming and cross-platform development ensured
- Project communication and coordination with internal stakeholders supported
Qualifications
- Master’s or diploma degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum 3–4 years of professional experience, particularly in C++ programming
- Solid knowledge of software design, patterns and architecture as well as system programming and cross-platform development
- Strong proficiency in modern C++ standards (C++17 or later)
- Business fluent in English (at least C1); German skills desirable
- Communicative personality and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in an agile, interdisciplinary environment
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
