For our client Airbus Aerostructures GmbH, we are looking for a Certified TIG Welder at the Augsburg site. In a highly specialized manufacturing environment, you will take on demanding welding tasks on complex component geometries for the aerospace industry – where precision and quality are the top priority.

Responsibilities


  • Preparation of components for welding, including degreasing, cleaning, and temperature conditioning
  • Tacking and welding of pipe and welded assemblies in compliance with customer requirements and operational approvals
  • Execution of welding work according to work plans, welding instructions, and sequence plans
  • Production of various weld seams on complex component geometries
  • Operation of manual and automated equipment such as welding machines and turning automats
  • TIG welding in manual, semi-automated, and fully automated execution
  • Metalworking tasks such as straightening and grinding of weld seams
  • Visual inspection of welding results for quality assurance


Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training in a metalworking trade (e.g., welder, industrial mechanic)
  • Initial experience in TIG welding, ideally on thin-walled materials
  • Knowledge of processes and procedures in the field of welding
  • Willingness to familiarize yourself with new processes
  • Business fluent German (at least C1); proficient English (at least B2)
  • High quality standards, reliability, and teamwork skills
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
