Responsibilities


  • Area of Responsibility: Ensure safe and health-promoting working conditions in a dedicated, assigned area
  • Inspections and Consultations: Conduct regular inspections in production and advise workshops, supervisors, and the works council
  • Risk Assessment: Support managers and safety officers in identifying and evaluating work-related risks
  • Accident Processing: Document and analyze occupational accidents and near-misses in the FISH tool (Federated Information for Safety and Health)
  • Preventive Measures: Develop proposals for the prevention of hazards and accidents together with the teams
  • Risk Control: Support on-site in ensuring appropriate protective measures and the efficient investigation of incidents
  • Training and Awareness: Organize and conduct safety briefings, awareness campaigns, and EHS induction events (Environment, Health and Safety)
  • EHS Meetings: Regularly participate in occupational safety meetings on site


Qualifications

  • Completed technical education, at least at master craftsman level, or comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in occupational safety
  • Certificate as a certified occupational safety specialist (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit) is mandatory
  • Confident handling of Google Workspace
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and basic English skills (at least A2)
  • Class B/3 driver's license
  • Qualification as a Safety and Health Coordinator (SiGeKo) is advantageous
  • Confident and competent demeanor, high sense of responsibility, excellent communication skills, and teamwork
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
