Tasks
- Analyze and improve inbound and inventory processes together with the logistics service provider at an operational and tactical level, with a focus on safety, quality and performance
- Derive, define and implement recovery and continuous improvement measures based on in-depth performance analyses and reporting
- Develop and further enhance layouts, processes, equipment and tools within the inbound and inventory setup as part of the logistics transformation in Hamburg
- Drive optimizations across both sites in Fuhlsbüttel and Wilhelmsburg
- Build and maintain strong, reliable relationships with logistics service providers and internal stakeholders across Satair and Airbus
- Structure, coordinate and track action packages, including schedule, risk and results management
- Support standardization, documentation and the sustainable integration of new processes into day-to-day operations
Qualifications
- Completed degree in industrial engineering, supply chain/logistics, or supply chain quality
- Extensive professional experience in warehouse logistics, process planning, process improvement, and supply chain/logistics
- Several years of experience in documenting processes and standards
- Very good knowledge of lean management and process management, plus good knowledge of change management, project management, and Kaizen
- Strong knowledge of SAP R/3 (detailed functions)
- Desirable skills: Google Workspace, Confluence, Jira, production planning and control, and problem-solving methods
- Business-fluent German and English skills (at least C1)
- CV in English required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
