Responsibilities
- Automation strategy support and development of new technological building blocks for airframe engineering
- Architecture integration ensuring and managing dependencies between automation functions and architecture parameters
- Process definition of new methods to maximize the benefit of automated design building blocks
- Rule set definition for automated and parametric design within the context of aircraft architecture
- Method development for the transformation of development and integration processes of the physical aircraft
- Software solutions conceptualization to drive efficient, automated design activities
Qualifications
- Completed degree in engineering or a technical field (at least Bachelor's)
- Several years of professional experience in configuration management, engineering, aircraft construction, and design
- Specific experience in the field of system installation and structural design
- In-depth application knowledge of Catia V5 and VPM; basic coding/scripting skills (VBA, Python, CAA) are advantageous
- Good knowledge of project and process management, especially in Airframe Engineering Process (Physical Design)
- Basic skills in German; business fluent English (at least C1)
- Knowledge of agile methodologies is desirable
- Strong communication and presentation skills, teamwork, and leadership qualities in a dynamic environment
- CV in English required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
