Responsibilities
- Supplier Management: Take responsibility for the On-Time, On-Quality, and On-Cost performance of contracts
- Risk Management: Identify industrial risks and issues with suppliers and develop corresponding measures as well as short-, medium-, and long-term improvement plans
- After-Sales Management: Assess and support suppliers during the after-sales ramp-up
- Procurement Process: Evaluate suppliers during the tendering phase and contribute to the selection decision
- Product Introduction: Monitor or support New Product Introductions (NPI) and Transfers of Work (ToW) to ensure industrial qualification maturity before the serial phase
- Quality Assurance: Be responsible for supplier approval/conformity and coordinate their compliance with Airbus/EASA requirements
Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain/Logistics, or Supply Chain Quality (at least Bachelor's degree)
- Several years of professional experience in procurement, supplier management, quality management, quality assurance, and supply chain
- Experience in the after-sales area is an advantage
- Detailed specialist knowledge of SAP and good knowledge of Google Workspace
- Good knowledge of project management
- Business fluent English (at least C1); French or Spanish is a strong plus
- Experience in creating recovery plans is a strong plus; experience in the Airbus environment or with Airbus suppliers is an advantage
- Willingness for occasional business trips (globally, mainly within Europe)
- Independent working style, pronounced analytical skills, and high communication and assertiveness
- CV in English required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
