For our client HENSOLDT Sensors GmbH, we are looking for a Cable Manufacturing Technician Aviation at the Kiel site. In a highly specialized environment, you will manufacture special cables for military and civilian radar systems – from assembly to final testing. Your attention to detail and technical understanding are crucial for the quality and function of these safety-critical systems.

The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 43,428 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 31.05.2027. Responsibilities


  • Cable assembly of military special cables for power, RF, and fiber optics according to specifications
  • Connection technology: Manufacturing of crimped, mechanically secured, or soldered connections according to IPC-A-620
  • Fiber optics: Production and assembly of fiber optic connections
  • Quality inspection of manufactured cables for function and specification
  • Documentation of all manufacturing and testing steps according to quality standards
  • Field Service support by providing reliable special cables for radar systems


Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training in mechanics or electrical engineering, or comparable qualification
  • Initial experience in cable assembly required
  • Basic knowledge in the field of electrical engineering
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English (at least B2)
  • Teamwork skills, communication skills, and a high sense of responsibility
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
