Tasks
- Carry out rework, modifications and part replacements on mechanical and electronic aircraft components
- Responsible for installing and maintaining oxygen systems, water/waste systems and air conditioning ducts
- Apply and install surface coverings like protective films and flooring materials
- Laminating and painting of aircraft parts according to work orders, drawings and Diehl specifications
- Document all work performed in accordance with production processes
- Coordinate and complete follow-up tasks independently via internal and external interfaces
- Work in shift patterns, with possible on-call duties on weekends
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as a boat builder, carpenter, joiner, woodworker, or similar technical trade
- Several years of professional experience in interior construction, e.g. kitchen assembly or aerospace industry
- Sound experience working with technical components, ideally in aircraft cabin systems
- Confident with MS Office and SAP (advanced user knowledge)
- Fluent German (min. C1) and basic English skills (min. A2)
- Willingness to work early and late shifts as well as on-call duty on weekends if required
- A valid and unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
