Tasks
- Performing functional tests within AIT satellite programmes
- Reviewing and creating test specifications and procedures
- Supporting electrical integration activities
- Preparing and analysing test data for customer evaluation
- Documenting test results and writing test reports
- Supporting satellite/instrument operations
- Assisting in satellite configuration analysis and documentation
- Contributing to failure analysis (NCR investigations)
Qualifications
- Completed technical degree, ideally in aerospace engineering, technical informatics, or a comparable field
- Initial professional experience in functional satellite AIT
- Desirable: knowledge of TM/TC (PUS), ECSS standards, and satellite communication encryption
- Proficient in Unix and advanced MS Office skills
- Knowledge of Java is a plus
- Fluent in German and English (at least C1 level)
- Willingness to travel within Europe and to work in shift operations
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is strictly required
