For our client Airbus Defence and Space, we are currently seeking a Engineer Electrical Tests & System Integration Satellites in Immenstaad. Tasks

  • Performing functional tests within AIT satellite programmes
  • Reviewing and creating test specifications and procedures
  • Supporting electrical integration activities
  • Preparing and analysing test data for customer evaluation
  • Documenting test results and writing test reports
  • Supporting satellite/instrument operations
  • Assisting in satellite configuration analysis and documentation
  • Contributing to failure analysis (NCR investigations)

Qualifications

  • Completed technical degree, ideally in aerospace engineering, technical informatics, or a comparable field
  • Initial professional experience in functional satellite AIT
  • Desirable: knowledge of TM/TC (PUS), ECSS standards, and satellite communication encryption
  • Proficient in Unix and advanced MS Office skills
  • Knowledge of Java is a plus
  • Fluent in German and English (at least C1 level)
  • Willingness to travel within Europe and to work in shift operations
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is strictly required
