Tasks
- Processing sheet metal parts by forming and machining
- Assembly work on subassemblies made of composite and metal materials
- Integration of systems and components into metal structures
- Performing riveting, gluing, and screwing work on assemblies (e.g., firewalls, fire bulkheads)
- Material allocation and documentation of work sequences
- Optimization of processes for complex assemblies
- Prototype construction activities on new structures and individual parts
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic, mechatronics engineer, metal technology specialist, or in a comparable metalworking profession
- Several years of professional experience in the areas of manufacturing/production, aircraft construction, mechanics, and sheet metal
- Business fluent German (at least C1), basic English skills (at least A2)
- Willingness to work shifts
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
