Tasks

  • Carrying out static and dynamic tests, preferably on composite materials, to generate and confirm material characteristics
  • Coordination of test requirements with internal customers as well as creation of test orders and deadline tracking
  • Documentation of the work steps carried out and creation of test reports in accordance with the ISO17025 quality management system
  • Defining, describing and approving new internal test instructions to ensure standardised test procedures
  • Evaluation and interpretation of test results, including fracture pattern analysis to derive technical findings

Qualifications

  • Completed studies in the field of materials technology, plastics technology, composites or comparable
  • OR: Completed training in materials science (metals / composites), materials testing, laboratory assistant or comparable, with additional qualification as a technician or business administrator
  • Extensive experience in testing and development, materials technology, testing methods and lightweight construction
  • Know-how in handling static and dynamic testing machines (servo-hydraulic, electromechanical)
  • In-depth expertise in materials science and destructive material testing for precise testing and analysis procedures
  • Confident handling of laboratory testing equipment and metrological procedures
  • Detailed user knowledge with MS Office, Google Suite an advantage
  • Business fluent in German and proficient in English
  • Existing work permit for the EU (no student visa)
