For an exciting project with our client Airbus Operations GmbH, we are looking for a Stress Engineer Secondary Structures in Bremen. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the structural integrity of secondary aircraft components – from feasibility studies to certification. Tasks

• Conducting feasibility studies and structural analyses for metallic components
• Calculating and assessing repair solutions and damage scenarios
• Coordinating with design, manufacturing and certification departments regarding structural requirements
• Verifying compliance with standards, methods and manufacturing guidelines
• Providing technical support to engineering service providers in the field of structural mechanics
• Applying manual calculations and FEM tools such as Nastran and Hyperworks

Qualifications

• Completed degree in structural analysis, structural engineering, or in civil engineering, mechanical engineering or engineering sciences
• Several years of professional experience as a stress engineer, in structural calculations, and in the application of the finite element method (FEM)
• Experience with manual calculations required
• Knowledge of ISAMI, taksy and PASS SSCI is an advantage
• Advanced user knowledge of Nastran and Hyperworks
• Business fluent English skills (at least C1), German skills are an advantage
• A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
