For an exciting project with our client Airbus Operations GmbH, we are looking for a Stress Engineer Secondary Structures in Bremen. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the structural integrity of secondary aircraft components – from feasibility studies to certification. If you’re fluent in FEM and enjoy working at the interface between engineering, manufacturing and certification, we’d like to hear from you.

Tasks
- Conducting feasibility studies and structural analyses for metallic components
- Calculating and assessing repair solutions and damage scenarios
- Coordinating with design, manufacturing and certification departments regarding structural requirements
- Verifying compliance with standards, methods and manufacturing guidelines
- Providing technical support to engineering service providers in the field of structural mechanics
- Applying manual calculations and FEM tools such as Nastran and Hyperworks
Qualifications
- Completed degree in structural analysis, structural engineering, or in civil engineering, mechanical engineering or engineering sciences
- Several years of professional experience as a stress engineer, in structural calculations, and in the application of the finite element method (FEM)
- Experience with manual calculations required
- Knowledge of ISAMI, taksy and PASS SSCI is an advantage
- Advanced user knowledge of Nastran and Hyperworks
- Business fluent English skills (at least C1), German skills are an advantage
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
