Responsibilities


  • CNC programming and support for lathes with 5-axis technology
  • Process optimization: Development and supervision of turning processes
  • Manufacturing planning: Creation of machining technology and provision of manufacturing resources
  • CAM/CAD application: Creating manufacturing programs in CAD/CAM environment and commissioning them with production
  • Data management: Maintaining manufacturing documents, design revisions, and master data in ERP systems
  • Process analysis: Collection, evaluation, and statistical analysis of process and measurement data
  • Quality documentation: Documenting manufacturing and quality data and performing statistical evaluations
  • Series production support: First point of contact for technical questions and support for new machines and processes


Qualifications

  • Completed training as metalworker/carriage builder or machinist with technician/technical manager qualification or comparable qualification with Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical engineering, or production technology
  • Several years of professional experience in supervising CNC-controlled 5-axis machining and technical understanding of machines and equipment
  • Experience in the aerospace industry or with aerospace-specific manufacturing processes is advantageous
  • Knowledge of CAD/CAM environments as well as ERP systems (IFS) and CM systems (BabtecQ), experience with industrial interfaces (OPC UA) is advantageous
  • Business fluent in German (at least C1) and business fluent in English (at least C1)
  • Curriculum vitae required in English
  • High communication skills, independent and structured working method as well as teamwork ability
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
