Responsibilities
- Performing and documenting custom paintwork on cabin components for VIP and special mission aircraft according to technical specifications
- Carrying out preparatory work such as sanding, filling, priming, and staining
- Painting high-quality real wood veneer surfaces
- Applying clear coat, colored, textured, and metallic paint systems to a very high standard
- Performing spot repairs and high-gloss polishing work
- Operating computer-controlled paint mixing stations and paint matching devices
- Working in accordance with relevant processes as well as occupational safety, environmental, and hazardous materials regulations
- Ensuring the proper use and careful handling of equipment, machines, and tools
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as a painter or carpenter with proven qualifications for high-quality painting work
- Several years of professional experience in painting visually demanding surfaces
- Good knowledge of industry-specific regulations, accident prevention regulations, environmental protection, and hazardous materials regulations
- Basic knowledge of using computer systems
- Very good German and English language skills (minimum B2 level in each)
- Willingness to work in a 2-shift system
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (not a student visa) is mandatory
