Tasks

  • Carrying out equipment and assembly work on fuel systems and flight controls
  • Assembling metal and composite components (including fibre composites)
  • Planning work steps and implementing aircraft-specific assembly procedures such as drilling, riveting and gluing
  • Performing leak tests on fuel tanks
  • Documenting work as it is carried out and confirming it in the production/work plan
  • Handover of assemblies, components or sub-assemblies to internal and external customers

Qualifications

  • Vocational training as an aircraft mechanic (production engineering or maintenance engineering) or comparable industrial training
  • Several years of professional experience in manufacturing/production as well as in aircraft construction or aerospace
  • Experience in the field of fibre composites and knowledge of classic helicopter structures and equipment
  • Business fluent in German (at least C1); advanced English (at least B2)
  • Willingness to work shifts and travel for assembly work
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is essential
