Tasks
- Assembly of structural components according to manufacturing documents, drawings, and instructions
- Production of riveted joints and assemblies in accordance with aviation standards
- Preparation of the working environment by reviewing drawings, providing components, and checking tools
- Positioning and fixing components for further processing
- Documentation and implementation of assembly steps on assemblies
- Application of surface protection, e.g., rivet head covers and preservation of seal seam
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic or in a comparable metalworking profession
- Initial professional experience as a metalworker and in the fields of precision engineering, industrial mechanics, aviation mechanics, and structural mechanics (metal)
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and basic English skills (at least A2)
- Willingness to work shifts in a 2- to 3-shift operation
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
