Responsibilities
- Rivet connections and assemblies on aircraft structures according to drawings and instructions
- Component manufacturing in compliance with applicable aviation standards and quality requirements
- Work preparation such as checking orders, drawings, and manufacturing equipment independently
- Component positioning and fixing to ensure precise assembly
- Assembly processes for components and assemblies, including documentation
- Surface protection through application of rivet heads and sealing of seal seams
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as an Industrial Mechanic, Automotive Mechatronics Technician, or in a metalworking trade
- Several years of professional experience in manufacturing or production, ideally in industrial mechanics
- Initial experience in structural mechanics (metal) at Airbus is an advantage
- Good German language skills (at least proficient)
- Basic English skills (at least A2)
- Willingness to work shifts in a 3-shift system
- Quality-oriented and responsible work ethic as well as teamwork skills
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
