Tasks

  • Manufacturing and assembling riveted joints and structural components based on drawings and production instructions
  • Producing components in accordance with applicable aviation standards
  • Preparing the workplace: reviewing orders and drawings, setting up components, checking and providing tools and materials
  • Positioning and securing components according to specifications
  • Carrying out and documenting the assembly process
  • Applying surface protection measures, such as rivet head coating and sealant conservation

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic (specialization: engine technology), industrial mechanic, automotive mechatronics technician or another metalworking profession
  • Professional experience in structural mechanics and structural assembly, ideally at Airbus Operations
  • Good German language skills (at least B2), basic English skills (at least A2)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
  • Willingness to work in a 2- to 3-shift system
  • A team player with an independent, precise working style, strong concentration and a high level of responsibility
