For our client Airbus Aerostructures GmbH, we are looking for an Aircraft Mechanic Structural Components at the Augsburg site. In a highly specialized environment, you will work on the assembly of complex structural and equipment components for modern aircraft programs, directly contributing to the manufacturing of high-tech aircraft.

Responsibilities


  • Structural Assembly: Joining, fitting, and setting of metal and composite components
  • Joining Techniques: Drilling, riveting, bonding, and grinding parts according to aircraft-specific procedures
  • Complex Assembly: Assembly of electrical and mechanical equipment systems
  • CFRP Processing: Assembly of components for A350 side shells made of carbon fiber
  • Work Planning: Planning and execution of individual work steps based on manufacturing plans
  • Documentation: Maintaining work-related records and confirming completed tasks
  • Quality Assurance: Performing functional checks and surface protection measures


Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as an Aircraft Mechanic, Automotive Mechanic, or in a metal- or woodworking trade
  • Several years of professional experience in manufacturing or production, ideally in the aerospace industry
  • Practical experience in mechanics, locksmith work, or structural assembly
  • Initial application skills in MS-Office
  • Business fluent German (at least C1); basic English skills (at least A2)
  • Experience in reading technical drawings and handling various joining techniques
  • Reliability, teamwork, and a quality-conscious work approach
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
