Tasks
- Performing repair work on structural components, for example in case of outer skin damage
- Reviewing and sorting work orders as well as technical drawings to ensure structured work preparation
- Setting up components and the work area, as well as checking and providing production equipment and tools
- Positioning and securing components to ensure an accurate fit during assembly
- Assembling components and sub-assemblies, including documentation of the work steps
- Carrying out surface protection, for example rivet head application and preservation of seal seams
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as an Industrial Mechanic, Metal Worker, Body Builder or in a comparable metalworking profession
- Several years of professional experience in manufacturing / production and maintenance
- Good German skills (min. B2) and basic English skills (min. A2)
- Willingness to work 2–3 shift operation
- Quality-focused, responsible working style and the ability to work independently and stay concentrated for longer periods
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
