Tasks

  • Develop and perform functional tests in AIT satellite programmes (Galileo)
  • Contribute to the creation and review of test specifications and test setups
  • Define, create, further develop and execute test procedures
  • Support electrical integration activities within the AIT environment
  • Prepare, analyse and evaluate test data, including alignment with the customer
  • Document results and write test reports for verification and compliance evidence
  • Support satellite / instrument operations as well as configuration analysis and documentation
  • Participate in failure analysis and NCR (Non-Conformance Report) investigations

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering (Technical Informatics) or a comparable technical field
  • Several years of professional experience in functional satellite AIT
  • Desirable: knowledge of satellite communication link encryption, TM/TC (PUS) for satellites/instruments and ECSS standards
  • Advanced user skills in Unix and Microsoft Office; Java is a plus
  • Fluent German and English skills (minimum C1)
  • Willingness to travel within Europe and readiness to work shifts temporarily
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
