The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 61,700 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 31.03.2027. Responsibilities


  • Mechanical and electrical integration of components and assemblies for instruments and satellites
  • Assembly and testing of fixtures, equipment, and mechanical systems
  • Environmental testing for spaceflight instruments and satellites, including preparation and execution
  • Documentation of all work steps according to agreed quality standards
  • Test campaigns domestically and abroad, including support during multi-month assignments overseas


Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as a precision mechanic, mechanic, or in a metalworking or technical manufacturing profession
  • Several years of professional experience in precision mechanics, industrial mechanics, or measurement technology
  • Experience in mechanical manufacturing, with processing tools and production control; knowledge of plastic processing and bonding techniques is an advantage
  • Experience in mechanical satellite integration and knowledge of standard procedures in the aerospace industry is desirable
  • Proficient use of MS Office
  • Advanced German language skills (at least B2); business fluent English (at least C1)
  • Willingness to undertake multi-month assignments abroad at European test laboratories
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, high level of initiative, and an independent way of working
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
