Tasks
- Integration of mechanical and electronic aerospace components according to specifications and drawings
- Independent assembly of components, including tool preparation and quality assurance
- Documentation of work steps and handover to quality assurance
- Fault analysis and repair in case of deviations in accordance with repair orders
- Support with technical expertise and improvement processes
- Performance of functional tests before, during, and after integration
- Ensuring that all materials and drawings are complete before starting assembly
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic, aircraft builder, mechatronics engineer, or comparable qualification
- Many years of professional experience in aircraft construction or quality assurance
- Knowledge of ECSS or IPC manufacturing standards (e.g., soldering, crimping)
- Experience in the integration of space equipment is an advantage
- Confident use of SAP and good knowledge of MS Office
- Business fluent German (at least C1), advanced English (at least B2)
- Willingness to work shifts and travel occasionally
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
