Responsibilities
- Planning, implementation, and continuous optimization of logistics processes along the material flow
- Analysis of existing processes, identification of bottlenecks, and derivation of concrete improvement measures (e.g., using Lean Management / Six Sigma)
- Development and implementation of process standards and guidelines to ensure a consistent approach
- Close collaboration with Purchasing, Production, and Quality to ensure a smooth material flow and clear interfaces
- Conducting training sessions and workshops to empower teams in process discipline and optimization
- Establishment, maintenance, and evaluation of process metrics (KPIs), including documentation and reporting
- Participation in the implementation of new technologies and systems for process automation
- Support in budget planning and monitoring within the logistics environment, with a focus on efficiency and resource utilization
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business administration, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in logistics or process management
- In-depth knowledge of process optimization and analysis (e.g., Lean Management, Six Sigma)
- Experience working with modern logistics systems and software
- Business-fluent German (min. C1); proficient in English (min. B2)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (not a student visa) is mandatory
