Tasks

  • Machining of aircraft components according to technical drawings, with a focus on bushing production
  • Operation of conventional lathes
  • Programming and operating CNC lathes
  • Ensuring dimensionally accurate manufacturing in compliance with aviation standards
  • Inspection of workpieces for dimensional accuracy and quality
  • Documentation of work steps according to internal guidelines
  • Compliance with safety regulations and aviation-specific standards

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as a machinist, cutting machine operator, or in a comparable metalworking profession
  • Several years of experience in turning, both on conventional and CNC-controlled machines
  • Experience in working with technical drawings and manufacturing tolerances is desirable
  • Good knowledge of German (at least B2), basic knowledge of English (at least A1)
  • Willingness to work in a 2-shift system
  • A valid and unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is strictly required
