Tasks
- Start, monitor and operate milling machines with NC controls, including process inspections and adjustment tasks
- Conduct regular process checks and apply process-reliable testing methods
- Diagnose and resolve minor faults and initiate repair actions in line with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) guidelines
- Set up and configure machines, manage tools and perform calibrations
- Position and prepare components, including tool changes
- Maintain the IT system and ensure complete documentation of all work steps
- Communicate across upstream and downstream process areas to support process optimization
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as a milling machine operator / lathe operator, precision mechanic, toolmaker or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in manufacturing / production, aerospace and quality management
- Practical experience with Siemens Sinumerik control systems
- Certified qualification as a machine operator
- Solid knowledge of SAP and confident use of Google Workspace
- German language skills at negotiation level (min. C1), English basic knowledge (min. A2)
- Willingness to work in 3 shifts
- A valid and unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa permitted) is a mandatory requirement
