Tasks
- Prepare and follow up on milling processes (setup, clamping, alignment)
- Mill CNC components according to orders, parts lists, and specifications
- Start milling programs and monitor the milling process by visual inspection
- Set the machine zero point and perform a system check before starting work
- Change and adjust tools and check for wear (tool change)
- Cleaning the system and performing machine maintenance (lubricating, checking oil level)
- Supporting the maintenance and servicing of the milling machine to the defined extent
Qualifications
- Completed training as a turner, milling machine operator, cutting machine operator, precision mechanic, or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in manufacturing/production or industrial mechanics
- Several years of experience in maintenance/servicing
- Experience in computerized numerical control programming and operation, ideally Siemens Sinumerik 840D
- Knowledge of zamiz (detailed functions)
- Business fluent German (at least B2) and basic English skills
- Willingness to work 3 shifts
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
