Tasks
- Creating CNC programs for processing in forming technology (pipe bending) and determining the bending direction
- Converting design data (e.g., STEP to IGES) and deriving bending-relevant parameters
- Documenting changes to bending parameters, saving and versioning programs on data carriers
- Determining clamping options and consulting with experienced colleagues for complex clamping arrangements
- Setting up and converting bending devices depending on the pipe geometry, as well as testing and adjusting the clamping functions
- Assigning bending tools, single-set running of programs, and optimization after consultation
- Measuring and testing the processed pipes according to the test plan, entering correction values, and ensuring dimensional accuracy and quality
- Documenting rework and rejects (e.g., cracks in bends, surface damage)
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as a precision mechanic, industrial mechanic, cutting machine operator, or in a metalworking profession, or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in maintenance, aerospace, measurement technology, technical documentation, and quality management
- In-depth application knowledge of SAP
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and advanced English skills (at least B2)
- Willingness to work in a 2-shift system
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
