Responsibilities
- Manual finishing of composite and metal sandwich components
- Fitting-out of cured CFRP and GFRP components
- Perform structural and non-structural bonding according to specifications
- Documentation of all work sequences in the manufacturing order
- Material management and allocation to the manufacturing order
- Quality and cost awareness in independent work execution
- Identify cost-saving potentials in the manufacturing process
- Teamwork in a production environment
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as a Process Mechanic for Coating Technology, Process Mechanic for Plastics and Rubber Technology, or Carpenter
- Many years of professional experience in manufacturing or production
- Several years of experience in the aerospace industry
- Knowledge of handling and reading technical drawings
- Proficient German (at least B2); basic English skills (at least A2)
- Willingness to work in 2nd and 3rd shifts as well as overtime
- Careful, solution-oriented, team-oriented, and resilient way of working
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
