Tasks
- Supporting configuration and data management across all product life cycle phases
- Performing configuration identification and planning, including mapping in enterprise resource planning and product lifecycle management systems
- Implementing configuration control, change management, and process monitoring to ensure compliance and traceability
- Supporting customer reviews and internal and external audits with reliable data
- Further developing the configuration management process with a focus on clarity, efficiency, and standardization
- Assisting in the selection and integration of configuration and data management tools (interfaces, process fit, user benefits)
- Creation of training materials and implementation of training courses for specialist departments and interface partners
Qualifications
- Completed degree, e.g., in engineering, aerospace, mechanical engineering, or similar
- Several years of professional experience in configuration management and in the field of engineering/development/design/product development
- Good knowledge of process management and a noticeable enjoyment of process design (hands-on, not just on slides)
- Experience with enterprise resource planning/product data management/product lifecycle management systems, ideally SAP
- Business fluent German and English skills (at least C1 in each)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
