At Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH in Donauwörth, you will work as a Design Engineer Flight Control on complex systems for modern helicopters. You will be involved in the entire product lifecycle and ensure the integration of flight control, hydraulics, and actuation systems into the helicopter – from concept to certification.

Responsibilities


  • Constructive supervision of the entire product lifecycle, considering function, weight, cost, and certification
  • Concept and detailed design of flight control, hydraulic, and actuation systems in CATIA V5
  • Integration of systems into the helicopter and coordination of all relevant interfaces
  • Kinematics analysis for control paths, tolerances, and rigging using CATIA V5
  • Release of construction documents and documentation in SAP and Windchill
  • Documentation for design, construction, qualification, and maintenance concepts
  • Product improvement through modification of design and manufacturing documentation
  • Collaboration with internal specialist departments and international suppliers


Qualifications

  • Completed degree in engineering, aerospace, or mechanical engineering (at least Bachelor's)
  • Several years of professional experience as a Design Engineer or in development, ideally in the aerospace industry
  • Many years of relevant experience in the aerospace industry is mandatory
  • Proficient use of CATIA V5, VPM, Windchill, and SAP
  • Basic German skills (at least A2); business fluent English (at least C1); French is an advantage
  • Qualifications in materials, technologies, or specific development methods are desirable
  • Independent, results-oriented work style, team and communication skills, and intercultural competence
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
