Responsibilities


  • Project leadership for industrialization and serial launch projects considering time, cost, and quality
  • Interface coordination between manufacturing engineering, development, quality assurance, and production control
  • Design consultancy for design changes and new designs for serial and prototype activities
  • Design documentation review for optimal feasibility considering established and new manufacturing processes
  • Manufacturing concepts definition and development, including the creation of takt models
  • Support in the creation of work plans and bills of materials in SAP for metallic components and assemblies
  • Offer calculations professional support and participation in development projects


Qualifications

  • Completed degree (at least Bachelor's) in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a comparable technical field of study
  • Many years of solid practical and theoretical knowledge in the production technology of metallic components and the assembly of modules
  • Basic understanding of product structure and professional support for other departments such as purchasing, program, design, or quality assurance
  • Detailed specialist knowledge of Catia V5, confident handling of SAP modules, PLM skills are an advantage
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
  • Basic knowledge of aviation standards and regulations
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, independent and structured way of working, high service orientation
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
