We are looking for a Design Engineering Technician for our customer Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH at their Donauwörth site. In this position, you will be responsible for analyzing technical changes, creating spare parts catalogs, and maintaining technical data – with the aim of making aircraft maintenance and operation efficient and safe. Tasks

  • Analysis of technical changes and assessment of their impact on maintenance and spare parts provision
  • Creation and maintenance of spare parts configurations and illustrated parts catalogs (IPC)
  • Definition and maintenance of technical data, in particular CSN data with illustrations
  • Maintenance of spare parts master data in SAP and coordination of material evolution tables (MET)
  • Creation and validation of technical documentation in accordance with international standards (e.g., S1000D)
  • Support in the selection of maintenance concepts and spare parts strategies in coordination with the design
  • Ensuring the supply of spare parts based on technical construction documents

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in aerospace engineering or comparable field
  • Alternatively: Completed technical training with further training as a technician or specialist and several years of professional experience
  • Several years of professional experience in design engineering, aerospace and technical documentation
  • Experience in creating illustrated parts catalogs (IPC) for helicopters (S1000D is an advantage)
  • Knowledge of detailed functions in SAP and Adobe Illustrator
  • Business fluent German and English skills (at least C1)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
