For our client HENSOLDT Sensors GmbH, we are looking for a Development Engineer for Mechanical Design at the Taufkirchen site. You will develop mechanical and electromechanical systems across the entire product lifecycle – from the proposal phase and prototypes to series development and obsolescence management.

The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 69,809 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 31.05.2027. Responsibilities
- Mechanical specifications: analyze and create
- Series devices and systems: maintain and process changes
- 3D design of individual parts and assemblies in Siemens NX, considering economic aspects
- Calculations for strength, service life, and dimensioning, either performed or commissioned
- Material and manufacturing processes: select in coordination with production
- Manufacturing documentation (parts lists, drawings, delivery specifications) as a Manufacturing Data Package (MDP)
- Technical reviews: conduct and check drawing sets
- Manufacturing and integration of prototypes and series devices: provide support
Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable field (at least Bachelor's)
- Many years of experience in the development and mechanical design of mechatronic equipment, devices, and systems
- Very good knowledge of general design, technology, and process standards
- Good knowledge of Siemens NX, ECTR, and SAP PLM (Key User experience); detailed specialist knowledge of MS Office
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English (at least B2)
- Independent working style, coordination skills, and teamwork
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
