Responsibilities
- ETL pipeline development using Python to automate data flows between engineering databases
- Tool integration by creating “glue code” for seamless data transfer between analysis software and internal systems
- Digitization of manual, spreadsheet-based calculation processes into automated, version-controlled web apps or scripts
- Methods standardization through the development of templates and automated generators for stress dossiers
- Database management and optimization of digital libraries for current and historical data
- Automation troubleshooting as the first point of contact for issues with engineering tools or scripts
- Process analysis to identify bottlenecks and manual steps with error potential
- Internal consultancy and training of team members on using new digital tools and basic automation principles
Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree (at least Bachelor's) in Computer Science, Engineering, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering
- Several years of professional experience in engineering and IT/information systems; Airbus experience is an advantage
- Detailed specialist knowledge of Python; initial application knowledge of Unix and Java
- Knowledge of Google Workspace and, as an advantage, experience with cloud environments (AWS)
- Business fluent English (at least C1); German skills are an advantage
- CV in English required
- Teamwork skills, strong communication skills, and an independent way of working
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
