At Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH in Donauwörth, you will take on the role of Documentation Engineer Avionics Manuals, responsible for creating and quality-assuring avionics manuals for civil and military helicopters. Responsibilities


  • Technical content for avionics manuals, including system descriptions, parts lists, and architecture diagrams
  • Consolidation and quality management by merging documentation chapters into complete manuals and ensuring their timely delivery
  • Process optimization by analyzing existing documentation workflows and developing improvement proposals, including the use of AI-supported tools
  • Integration of avionics manuals into the overarching tool and publication landscape of technical documentation
  • Compliance with all relevant specifications and guidelines


Qualifications

  • Successfully completed degree in Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering (at least Bachelor's) or alternatively a completed three-year vocational training with qualified further education to become a certified technician
  • Several years of professional experience as a Design Engineer, ideally in the field of electrical/electronics
  • Several years of experience in the aerospace industry and in technical documentation
  • Basic knowledge in the field of helicopter avionics is desirable, initial insights into publication processes are an advantage
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
  • High motivation, resilience, teamwork skills, and a structured, independent way of working
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
