Responsibilities
- Automated Optical Inspection (AOI): Independent operation of camera systems for inspecting populated printed circuit boards and evaluation of results
- Troubleshooting and Repair: Manual rework soldering and rectification of faults on electronic assemblies according to quality specifications
- Manual Assembly: Precise placement of SMD (Surface Mounted Device) and THT (Through Hole Technology) components onto circuit boards
- Microscopic Inspection: Visual inspection of solder joints and components under a microscope for quality assurance
- Assembly: Assembly of electronic modules and miniature parts for aviation applications
- Soldering Work: Performing SMD and manual soldering work in accordance with high-quality standards (e.g., IPC)
- Rework: Ensuring final product quality through targeted rework
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as an electrician, electronics technician for aircraft systems (aircraft electronics technician), or comparable with soldering training
- Many years of professional experience in electrical engineering/electronics, ideally in aircraft construction or aerospace
- Several years of practical experience in soldering (SMD and THT) as well as in the repair of electronic assemblies
- Experience in handling AOI systems (Automated Optical Inspection) for automated printed circuit board inspection
- Proficient use of MS Office and knowledge of SAP
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and basic English skills (at least A2)
- Independent, structured, and results-oriented way of working as well as pronounced communication skills
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
