Responsibilities
- Test definition and execution for electrical and functional tests on optical subsystems and payloads
- Test equipment: Definition and procurement of auxiliary test equipment such as test harnesses, break-out boxes, and electrical adapters
- Test procedures: Creation, execution, and assessment of test sequences including crimping work
- Failure analysis: Analysis and correlation of events with potential root causes and development of pragmatic solutions under time pressure
- Project coordination: Exchange with project teams to develop optimal test strategies regarding quality, time, and cost
- Quality management: Participation in non-conformances and support of investigations in compliance with company standards
- Infrastructure management: Maintenance and management of tools and infrastructure solutions
Qualifications
- Completed degree (at least Bachelor's) in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical field of study
- Experience in functional and electrical AIT (Assembly, Integration and Test) for optical subsystems, ideally in the aerospace sector
- Experience with Machine Learning / Deep Learning / Artificial Intelligence (AI) required
- Knowledge of Python and at least one of the following scripting languages: TCL / CCS5, Elisa/OpenCenter
- Experience in network architecture management; knowledge of Bash, MySQL, and GIT is an advantage
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
- Willingness to travel and work in shifts over several months
- Good communication skills, analytical thinking, and teamwork
- CV in English required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
