Tasks

• Collaboration on the development of a modern, pioneering line production concept (line balancing)
• Close interface work with engineering to implement new design approaches
• Development and implementation of innovative fixture concepts
• Review and approval of construction documents in accordance with technical standards
• Providing design advice for new developments and further developments
• Creating all relevant manufacturing engineering data
• Maintaining parts lists, production plans, and SAP data
• Creating SOI (Standard Operating Instructions) and performing cost analyses
• Processing quality reports and implementing design changes
• Participating in process optimization projects and PFMEA analyses to define test requirements

Qualifications

• Completed training as an electrician with further training as a technician/specialist or a degree in electrical engineering or similar
• Experience in work preparation, design, and development desirable
• Knowledge of 3D CAD systems, ideally CATIA V5
• Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP R3
• Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English (at least B2)
• Very good technical understanding and structured way of working
• A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
